Your Responsibilities

As an export forwarder, you will play a central role in the export flow and be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient transport solutions. Your main tasks include:

- Handling of quotation requests and transport bookings for export.
- Preparation of export-related documents and customs clearance.
- Issuing customs instructions to forwarding companies.
- Contact with suppliers and internal clients to ensure smooth delivery flows.
- Participation in transport procurement and negotiations.
- Coding and payment of freight and customs invoices.
- Handling transport claims and cross-trade shipments. The role involves close collaboration with both internal and external parties, where you contribute to optimizing and developing export processes.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree and/or several years of qualified experience in logistics, import/export. Experience in international transport and customs issues as well as contract writing is highly meritorious.

You have excellent knowledge of English, both spoken and written, and additional language skills such as Spanish, German, or Russian are an advantage. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and SAP is also a plus.

To thrive in the role, you need to be structured, flexible, and enjoy a fast-paced environment. You have a good ability to organize and prioritize your work even in pressured situations. In the face of change, you remain calm and handle challenges in a stable and solution-oriented manner.

You have a natural interest in customer relations and collaboration with external partners. Sustainability issues in transport are something you value and integrate into your work. Furthermore, you are self-driven, responsible, and have a strong desire to contribute to the development of the business. With a good balance between cost awareness and service ability, you ensure the right solutions at the right price.
